Wal-Mart worker trampled to death on Black Friday

The Daily News reported: A Wal-Mart worker died after being trampled when hundreds of shoppers smashed through the doors of a Valley Stream Long Island store on Nov. 28, 2008.

"He was bum-rushed by 200 people," said Jimmy Overby, 43, a co-worker. "They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me. They took me down too...I literally had to fight people off my back."

Recall the South Park episode Something Wall-Mart This Way Comes wherein Randy observes that that the Wall-Mart was them.

It's not fitting to our society at all. As HULIQ write http://www.huliq.com/1/73764/black-friday-walmart-death-worker-trampled Black Friday shamefully made a black mark on the retail store. Our society should be ashamed of this sort of consumerism

Black Friday has definitely cast a Dark Cloud over this country, when the chance of a good deal greatly outweighs the civility of concern for our fellow man. What savages we must be to put aside any form of compassion as human beings for the bloated ego of a materialistic path.
A Young Man of 34, working for a temp agency - the day after Thanksgiving - trampled to death.
Think about it.
God bless this Man and his family.
